I'm looking to get a shower head filter. One that hopefully filters out the minerals and Chlorine and other junk. what's a good , long lasting, brand?
How bad is the water coming into your house that anyone would need this? And wouldn't it be cheaper just to replace a shower head every year? They are like $5 or $10.
These days, with so many people working from home, I'd guess most folks take a long shower every week whether they need one or not. Many people take too long to shower and that doesn't help.
Recommended filter cartridge replacement every six months at $52.50 a pop! Might be able to cross reference to a Wix or Purolator to cut cost.....Claims to be NSF tested and certified. If so, I'd quit overthinking it and buy this:
Shower Filter for Existing Shower Head | Aquasana
Our shower filter reduces over 90% of chlorine and is easy to install using your existing shower head. The essential health and beauty product.www.aquasana.com
You don’t want that! It’s for elephants.Commando 450.
It's to get rid of the Chlorine and other stuff, not to replace the shower head. How bad is the water coming into your house that anyone would need this? And wouldn't it be cheaper just to replace a shower head every year? They are like $5 or $10.
I like to shower straight out of the pipe, no shower head, lot's of water pressure, these new shower heads just strangle water flow, like showering in a hotel.
