I owned a '97 Explorer with the 4.0L OHV engine, would have been better served with the 5.0L, lord was that engine bad on fuel! Mind you, I believe it is still going, my sister ended up with it after me and sold it for the powertrain with close to 400K on it, engine was still running perfectly
