Aquariuscm and Garak,
does the icing has to be the type where a spoon will sit upright in it?

Experience: I managed to dodge for me and wifey the do-gooder at my wedding party who wanted to give us a cake-face-makeup....

Absolutely. It must be thicker than toothpaste, significantly thicker, in fact.

And it has to have that crystalline sugary texture to it. The edges are almost crispy while the heart of the icing is creamy and smooth. I think wedding cakes have that type of icing too.

That's important, too!

I eat logically in a way to eat as little as possible and be satisfied.

High GI foods first (starches) - this is to signal the brain that I have food in my system, and start feeling satisfied
Veggies next - this is to satisfy the chewing desire
meats last - I always tend to overeat meats, as they are my favorite...so eat last as desert
