VW TDI Really Loud

I was searching for one vw related topic (the one with pics of worn out camshaft because Vw507 oil was not used) and came across that one...

Old vw 1.9TDI engines were bulletproof....but only if maintained regularly...OCI on 10-15kkms...

They have tiny oil passages in engine head wich can get clogged if OCI is extended...

I did 16,000km OCI's until it got "old" and then for a while I did more like 20,000km. [Can't bring myself to use "kkm"!] 505.01 at first, one or two changes with the defunct 506, then it must have been 507 thereafter. Too long to remember now.
