Toyota "FREE" oil changes

When I bought my 2017 Sienna, I DIY 1000 miles and 5000 miles and 15K miles.
Then I used the Toyota free at 10K and 20K miles.

This is what I would do.

I managed to talk them into a 2,500 mile first oil change under Toyota Care - the flex fuel actually calls for 5,000 mile intervals. I told them that the truck sees severe use - extensive idling, sits for months at a time, gets short tripped. All true, of course.

So, Groove Toyota, in Littleton, CO, changed it under Toyota Care (meaning for free) at 2,500.

So.....

I change my own oil without a lift in 20 minutes. 10 if I have the tools handy and the oil is warm.

A Toyotacare service is more than an oil change. They are rotating your tires, checking your lights, checking your air and cabin filters and topping off all your fluids as well.

They might have been running a little slow, but I find that service typically runs about 45 minutes.
