I doubt the oil level being off in any vehicle and application makes much difference until the lubricant pump starts sucking air or the fluid level is so high it interferes with moving parts and gets churned like butter..
because most transmission filters have an opening in them.. usually on the bottom.. its worth noting that all filters of any type have an inlet and an outlet.. LOL.
