Not including the truck brands, Wright, Proto, and SK are the major U.S. manufacturers of hand tools. Trav already highlighted the value of Williams tools, the industrial line of Snap-on. Under the Ideal umbrella is S.K, Pratt-Reed, and Western Forge (Trav's pliers). Stride relabels their wire nipping tools for many brands. What's troubling for many is accepting that U.S. made Craftsman pricing is mostly a thing of the past.
