Words evolve. In another 20 or 50 years "disabled" or "special" or whatever euphemisms we use today will be shunned. I hear that "Eskimo" is now a questionable word to use.

Yup, "Eskimo" has been considered pejorative here for decades - apparently it's an Inuit word meaning "raw-meat eater".

After considerable pressure, Edmonton's CFL team is now the Elks, rather than the Eskimos. Still alliterative, and they were able to keep the double-E logo.
