Steve Jobs relationship with his oldest daughter, sad read

Steve Jobs was a scumbag, I don't get the obsession with him.
Anyone perceived as famous or rich is supposedly an idol for all Americans to aspire to despite being overwhelmingly turds and human garbage outside that fame or wealth.

Very unfortunate we not only idolize these broken people but we also allowed them to Taylor our legal, autourney, and tax structures starting in the 80’s so they don’t have to pay their fair share or follow the same laws all other mere mortals must follow.

And they are defended ruthlessly by basement dwelling fan boys preventing any fair criticisms to filter through.

The same can be said for many 'celebrities'. It's sad that so many people look up to them. Our media ('People' magazine, Entertainment Tonight etc)....glorify these self centered narcissists and it has affected how they're viewed...It's a shame they have so much influence on many bird brained Americans...most are hypocrites who say one thing but live a totally different life than what they preach.....Hollywood is loaded with such self-loving scum.

There is a documentary about Jonathon Roumie that is very interesting. He's a fair humble guy (still earns money as a property manager in his building). During the documentary he meets with a whole really wide variety of people, mostly (not all) celebrities who wish to meet him, plus international press. The one solid take away: fame absolutely changes people and at some point of fame you can no longer be a person. Mostly for the worse. There are exceptions, some fairly surprising (Alice Cooper I found very surprising)

Corporate leaders we find out often worse than Hollywood people. Neither are or should be our leaders.

There are plenty folks willing to just discuss the accomplishments and societal impacts some of these people brought - there are others that just want to go right after successful people while nobody knows what’s in their own lifetime closet …
Many of us have one we don’t like - and vote with the wallet …
On Jobs? Those who have time to worry about his daughter should be worried about someone living check to check …

Not saying we can’t do both
