We took a day to go see Old Salem, NC. This is where the Moravian (original Czech / German) community lived, and one can still go and see the old village, much of it intact.

sorry, man: i should have formulated my sentence better; it just occurred to me that my answer looked like i was disagreeing with you.

what i meant was: every time my pic is taken, i think i am smiling widely, only to find out later that i am not smiling at all - it's weird ...

(I didn't mean that i was smiling in that photo - i am not smiling at all, i agree: like always, i thought i had a $hit eating grin on my face when the pic was taken - LOL - and later, sure enough i look grumpy like always!)

my fiance's parents go to a Moravian church outside of WS, NC. Did you see the gunsmith work? He is awesome! oh and the Moravian cookies rock too
