What is your point exactly?

For Canadians:

I first inquired in July as to the availability of the PLUS formulation in bottle packaging and was told that it was only available in 24 quart Eco boxes.

I made contact again just yesterday with Shell Technical Support and was told that the bottle form would not be available in Canada till sometime in 2020.

Just wondering why so many questions when a member asked about which synthetic oil to use. Everyone chimed in.

Correct product - SN plus - July 2020 date code.
The box was a bit oil stained and the bottles
were all oily because most were slightly
crushed at their bottoms and one had a
1/4 inch crack and lost a couple ounces
into the box.
Looks just like the product images here,

Cristo,

Did you pay $73 for 6qts??

I think I'd have to go Amsoil SS 0w40 for that price.

Yep, about the same price as the Amsoil, but I got it anyway because I like the specs better than the Amsoil SS 0w40.
At least shipping was free and very fast, although the quality of the shipping turned out to be shoddy.
I couldn't find the new version on sale anywhere else for any price.
Maybe that'll change as it moves through distribution over the next several months.

T6 Multi Vehicle 5w-30 is SN+

T6 5w-40 is not SN

Run what you want. Been running it in gas engines for years. Never ever been an issue. And please someone make the tighter tolerance argument to run 0w oils.

What's the distinction between the definitions of tolerances and clearances with respect to this topic in your experiences?

Please learn what the winter rating actually means before posting more incorrect information.

UPDATE for Canadians:

This oil is now available (from a wholesale distributor eg Bluwave/ Pepco etc) with Part # 550051112.

I'm well aware of ratings and viscosity. It's obvious by your comment you really don't know what you're talking about.

Looking up the bearing clearance of engines. The 0w oils now are all for fuel economy and emissions. I've run T6 15-40 in gas engines for years with phenomenal results and numbers from Blackstone. Run what you want
