Reatta rear strut install complete

First: I LOVE RUST FREE CARS! 35 years old and everything came apart with out any effort. The ride quality is (obviously) phenomenal compared to the old, OE units. $140 well spent. The entire job took me about 2 hours, and that was taking my time. These struts are the ONLY ones I'm ever going to get my hands on.

The rear end is a mono-leaf on these, like a Corvette You can see the spring perch/pad just to the left of the new strut in the first picture.

Mono-leaf like the W-Bodies. I bought one of these to use on the Lumina. I had to replace the rear strut bushings and this made the job that much easier. I think the ebay price was around $100.
