2003 VW Passat W8 wagon. 119,033 mi on odo; 4,034 mi OCI/1 year.

Out: 9L Liquimoly Leichtlauf High Tech 5W40, Hangst filter
In: 9L HPL Euro 5W40, Carquest filter

Going to do a 2 year OCI so ~6-7K miles which on the HPL will be fine. Had enough HPL from my last order to do it so why not treat the old girl to some quality motor oil. Had a spare filter from my son's VR6 GTI so easy to use that. Also on-tap over the next few weeks is a 3x drain/fill with Maxlife and a fresh ZF filter for the Tip-Tragic.

Also doing r. brake pads (OE VWs) and some fresh brake fluid (ATE TYP200)....may be heading down to Wookies in the Woods in April so need it ready to take on the Tail of The Dragon!

QX60 112,300km drained out 0W20 Pen Plat and changed Mahle OC575 and put in 4.8L of Supertech Full Synthetic 0W20 that I had laying around for my wife's old 2017 Rogue that was totalled in October 2023.

Jeep WJ with 4.0L with 5k miles.

Out: Kirkland 5w-30 and Pronto jobber filter
In: Kirkland 5w-30 and Fram TG16

The anti drain back valve on the filter seemed to have been failing. I did the change cold while working on the brakes and after sitting a couple of days without starting, very little oil was in the filter.

Other 09’ Ficus with almost 300k on it

Our winter/backup vehicle.

Out: ziploc NO VII 5w20 and a CHAMP LABS PH 2835. Almost 6,900 miles between each of us putting miles on it.

In: HPL NO VII 5w20 and another CHAMP LABS 2835.
When did ziploc start making oil? And when did plants start requiring oil or start to accumulate miles? ;)

2008 Crown Vic: 2,996 miles and 6 idle hours on this change.

Out: Havoline and Fram FF2
In: Havoline and Fram FE2

Also changed the air filter, serpentine belt, and rotated the tires.

Since everything was out, I changed the oil a little earlier than I normally do on my wife’s 2018 Grand Caravan: 2,741 miles, and hours and hours and even more hours of idling. The sun was out, it wasn’t freezing out, I had the day off, and I needed a mental health day of doing car stuff.

Out: AutoZone STP oil & filter
In: Havoline and Fram FF11665

Do’h! I put HPL in, stupid iPhone and auto correct. Sorry about that
Brother, I was 99.99999999999999% sure it was auto correct. It's happened to me too and there were times were my typing was just so attrocious that I can't blame it on auto correct. I was just busting chops. No need to apologize. I was just trying to be funny. Key word is "trying"!
