Those engines can run absolutely forever. My last car was a 2011 Fusion with that same engine and with 10k OCIs on M1 0W-20 I ran that car up to 324,000 miles before the transmission decided to quit. Engine still only went through 4oz of oil or less per 10k OCI. Absolutely bulletproof engines.

Any of those era Duratech engines are bulletproof. Conworker has 2.0 Duratech with now 320k in 2 Dr 10’ Focus SE

The utter reliability of the 2.5L Duratec in my Fusion is what led me to buy the 2.5L N/A version of the Mazda 6. Figured if the MZR-derived Duratec 2.5 was good, the SkyActiv 2.5L NA would be as well.

'17 Accord 2.4L -5600 miles on oil, 101k miles on vehicle. I also swapped out my MTF, posted in that thread.

Out - XG7317 and M1 0W-20 High Mileage and 3/4 qt EC30. Topped off along the way with some M1 0W-40 Euro, and some PP Frankenbrew viscosities. I need to keep better track of how much is being used/added. I have like 4 variety partial/full/opened qt bottles from the less than 5qt changes. The opened bottles definitely might have a brew of PP and M1 various viscosities.

In- XG7317, 3.5 qts of M1 0W-40 Euro and 1 qt of HPL 5W-30 PCMO. I put the other 1/2qt of M1 0W-40 in my trunk to top off if needed. I'll try to be more diligent so I can do a UOA after.

Why the M1 0W-40? Why not. I think I read it in the BITOG rules and regulations that you have to use it in something at least once to keep your membership active. HPL use makes it like executive membership. 😁

Yesterday afternoon. 2018 Ford F-250 reg cab 4WD plow truck. No frills, except power widows.

6k on teuck

Out: M1 5w30 and Auto Extra 618-51372. I did last oil change 2k ago or 1.5 years ago. Factory oil and filter dumped before that at 2~k

In: M1 5w30 and STP XL filter. Didn’t pay attention to part #

On this app; oil was very dark and gnarly draining out. Smelled very heavy of fuel but it’s a plow truck and sometimes used to get calcium chloride from our supplier. Truck can haul whole pallet with ease.

Should be an S2XL if I'm not mistaken. Some filter numbers stick with me like my own name.
