Now I have to look all this stuff up...
You gotta be kidding! I could see if it was at least a name brand synthetic and premium oil filter. Obviously the air filter markup is outrageous.
The only time you go to JiffyLube is if you have a company vehicle and you hate your employer.Exactly! She thought maybe it would be cheaper, since they do lots of oil changes for that area. Told her they up the price, because they know people like her don't know any better. She's learned her mistake. ☺
Are you experimenting with finding a preferred oil? I know I seen you post rgt and qshm as well. Just curious2018 Ford F-250

Hi Red91
My 6.2 motor has always had the cold ticking sound on start up even when it was a new engine. I’ve used RGT and QS and the sound never went away. I saw where some guys using Redline for the same issue with the Hemi motor, had good results with RL. So I gave RL a try and it’s worked great in my Ford. I’ll post my UOA as soon as it’s back.
Thanks
RL is 3.7 not sure if Pennzoil is that high.Might try some other higher viscosity oils (Higher HTHS) to see if you get the same effect. Something like Pennzoil Euro L 5W-30 from Walmart might be worth a try.
