Wondering what the longer oil filter part number is in AC Delco and Napa for LS1 Camaro's?

What is stock? PF 52?

The longer AC Delco is PF59 (PF58 also works but has no antidrainback valve)

For the NAPA Gold, it's the 1522

Is this a Corvette or an f-body (Firebird/Camaro)? If it's a Vette, do NOT run a longer filter. The stock size already sits even with the bottom of the oil pan and a longer filter will become the low point of the car.

He drives a Camaro so he's safe. I ran the long filter on my lowered 98 Firebird Formula for a while with no problems. It sits basically flush with the pan, maybe a tad below.

I definitely don't recommend the long filter for the C5s though. It's too bad, because that stock filter looks like a thimble to me. My wife's Honda filter is bigger.
