I had a friend who got into a small accident; he was worried about the engine so he immediately added 2 quarts of oil. Maybe that's the secret?

As a young boy, I learned the basics of car maintenance from my father. So I always have to try to imagine, if someone doesn't have any car care knowledge, what would motivate them to pour two gallons of oil into an engine? Wouldn't you consult the owner's manual? Or at the very least, google how much oil goes in your engine?

hey he had to add oil.. now he wont have to add or change the oil for YEARS think of the savings.

"Tom added oil but the car kept smoking", said the beloved neighbor.
>11 qt. oil drained from a 3.0l Audi V6, which calls for 6.
The drained oil had small {0.2mm to 1.0mm square} black chips (carbon?) in it.
