To be honest, I laugh when I hear anyone who thinks engines blow up using a certain BRAND of oil.
Correlation does not imply causation.
Wait a second ....I did have Amsoil in my 2006 Honda Civic and the engine "blew up".....but it was caused by a manufacturing problem, not the oil ( porous engine block ).
Still running Amsoil in my 2012 Civic and waiting for its engine to blow up soon as it has over 300,000 miles on it LOL.
I find the Amsoil bashing it just as bizarre as the ones who actually think your engine will last longer when using it ( normal drains ).
It's just another high quality oil that's conveniently shipped right to my door for the same price, that's why I use it.
