FYI: Three new members were given full member status today, and all three had less than ten posts.

Now that wasn't so bad, was it?

BTW, you may not realize this but the vast majority of people that register as members on BITOG never even make one post.

The New Member Forum is a smashingly wonderful idea as long as the veteran (expert) BITOG members do not loose interest in answering multiple "What's the best oil for my...." questions. At that point, noobs and semi-noobs (myself) will be answering noobs with nooby type answers. Wow, I just gave myself a headache with that sentence. I thought I knew alot about oil and auto maintence until I found this forum. While I can offer some legitimate advise for some applications, I may need a little schooling on occasion. Again, great idea as long as the vets keep intrest so that the integrity of this site can remain in all forums.

This is where I think a New Member Forum will actually help noobs who are gun-shy.
