2005 Dodge Caravan 3.3 with 139.000 valve cover gasket replacement. Bought used with about 40,000 miles and I have used nothing but Mobil 1 10w30 synthetic regular, high mileage, and extended performance at various times.

I find valve train photos really interesting. I wish I could see ringpacks without disassembly...

I bought it used in '08 with about 40,000 miles so it's had Mobil 1 for almost 100,000 miles.

Looks pretty darn good ... I've been using M1 for decades with apparently fine results.

Oh for God's sake, nobody here wants to see a spotless engine maintained well with a premium brand of synthetic oil

We need excessive varnish, sludge, and broken parts.

Why can't all the engines at the shop or salvage yard look like that?

I don't think you're not a Mobil 1 fan, more a periodic oil change fan. Funny how well these machines hold up with a little bit of TLC.
