Mobil 1 0w-20 AFE; 10k miles; 2013 Accord 4 cyl

2013 Honda Accord Sedan, EX with 6MT.

I took this sample at her second oil change with OLM = 15%. About 9 weeks and 10K miles on this interval, so I am driving her like she was meant to be driven!

AFE may change my opinion on Mobil.

Agree wear metals good, but the oil did shear from an 8.7 to a 6.93, which seems like quite a bit.

I really like M1 AFE, you have a great engine and oil combo to boot. I would not change a thing!

Your UOA makes me wonder if I should stick to TGMO 0W20 or switch to the more cost effective AFE 0W20....hmmm

Yep! Already knew M1 0-20 was good for 10K+. Been usin that for 3 years in both Duratechs. 10K OCIs are normal for me anyway, and glad to see others are gettin on board.

Thanks for comments everyone.

Just wanted to be sure no fuel dilution, coolant or intake leaks. Also wanted to satisfy myself that M1 AFE was stout enough for the application... I have enough to last me for 10 more oil changes (100,000 miles).
