Mazda CX-30 problem that Mazda ignores

It's not just Mazda is it, all modern cars seem to have overly complex and wasteful electrical systems these days. You can't open a car door or the trunk to take something out without all the computers waking up and drawing substantial amps from the battery. It seems to me lazy design to assume the car is always going to be driven every time someone approaches it.
