M1 0W40 in Toyota 4.0l V6?

I don’t really notice any in sound difference. A little quieter... Maybe at least at startup it is. I didn’t use a noise level meter before and after so i cannot put a value on that. As far as acceleration or throttle response..nope, it’s the same.
Gas mileage is unaffected. I actually get an immediate pronounced benefit by filling up with ethanol free gasoline. I don’t see anything apparent of measurably different in mileage between 0w20 and 0w40 in this vehicle. In fact my measurements show a slight improvement in gas mileage since changing, but that could be fuel quality noise if anything and the engine being more broke in.
It’s a 4wd body on frame 4Runner ..parasitic pumping losses due to oil viscosity are not really that relevant when the engine is pushing a heavy brick up hills and through the wind.
