+10 on that! The US Bud is nothing more than coloured dishwater. This Bud's for you is nothing more than good marketing for a very mediocre product.
All this with due respect for our american friends.

My feeling exactly! Why clear bottles when we know full well that light is the enemy of beer?!
Perhaps they think that it won't stay in the bottle very long?

I'd bet engineering brown bottles with consistent hue is a challenge. NOTE: Since I'm into recycling (simply makes sense to me) I'd love it if all bottles and jars were made of recycled materials such that glass color was forever changing.

Hop flavor seems to be VERY POPULAR. I say that because 80% of small beers seem to be hop laced....some quite heavily.

TOTALLY drink what you like. I feel sorry for people who live in small towns where you're forced to be "one of the guys" and a foreign beer brands you as a bad person.

LOVE lagers, some porters, some mildly hoppy beers (Stella Atrois = light, Beck's = heavier), kolsch, Weissbeers (unfiltered, please).

My friend who likes Peroni, Stella Artois etc also like But Light Platinum. 6% alc so will have to try it.

Had some Corona Premier tonight. No thanks. Super light with zero taste.

I can get real Budweiser at the locally-owned market here in the Bay Area, Berkeley Bowl has an eccentric beer selection.

But on a hot day or wrenching on the car, American Budweiser can't be beat. I make mistakes when I drink IPAs.
