Well in the process of cleaning things up while waiting for parts i thought i would take the oil relief valve out and plug the port.Well after looking for a few minutes in the pan and block i thought hell i guess i’ll have to google the location.I was looking in the right spot but someone screwed up.This was a 16 l83 put in a 14 as the first motor put a valve down through.Anyone see this before.Makes me wonder where it had no relief valve if it had anything to do with the lifter collapsing even though afm was disabled!It took to missing a couple times before it actually collapsed and each time i was fueling hard.I wonder if the high oil pressure could have bypassed the solenoid or something.This shining machined area is the relief valve location isn’t it?
