K&N maintenance

94,

IMO, tips for cleaning K&N's...
-cleaning-the less the better, IMO
-do not over oil
-after oiling let excess oil drain off of the filter onto a paper towel. I let mine sit for a week.

I use the kit with spray. Went 15K last time due to lotsa dust from the trucks, ash from burning of the sugarcane fields, and pine pollen. Easy to do, like the instructions say let it air dry. Amazed at the dirt that washed out when rinsing out the cleaner.
