I guess the only difference in going longer between adding it is that more junk will build up between doses.

I add a little with every fillup as maintenance. I'm pretty sure the RedLine SI bottle says it can be done that way. It's sort of like making your own super detergent gasoline.

It depends on your engine and the detergent content of the gasoline you buy. See how your engine feels and make exact gas mileage comparisions if you do repeatable driving trips. If the cleaner doesn't more than pay for itself, don't use it.

Instead of using a fuel system cleaner like Chevron Techron/Redline every 3,000 miles can these product be used every 6,000 miles when I do a oil/filter change.Chevron states that 3,000 is the rule for their product.Thanks Joe
