I have a set of headphones that I use for target practice and when cutting my lawn and listen to some music. This week went to shoot then was cutting my lawn and the volume dropped on the music to where I couldnt hear it and I saw a message on phone that I exceeded a decibel level. Is there a way to overide this.

Yes, there are headphone settings.
If you're raising the volume that much, you're not doing your ears any favors.

One would think those would be suitable. My only comment would be is are they truly sealed? Any headphone hearing protection is worthless if they aren't sealed to the head.
