How much Syn in in Blend oils?

Pennzoil Gold Syn/Blend bottle claims at least 50% synthetic

To meet decade and half specifications CP had to use 40% group III blended with 60% group II. I doubt anything could contain any less group III to meet SN specs.

Mobil has been able to do SN (but not Dexos) with primarily Group II+, their EHC product:

Semi synthetics prevent wear better then full synthetics. If your one to ignore OCIs then choose a full syn, it will break down slower but it DOESNT prevent wear better.
