My wife was my travel agent for business travel, and we talked and laughed and joked for years on the phone before I ever met her. We literally fell in love by phone.
One day after she completed a rather complex and ever changing foreign travel itinerary, I told her I owed her lunch. She said "Heck, you owe me dinner!" 19 years later we still dine together every night.
