Lowest I seen it in my area the last month was $1.97 -- as of today -- $2.35 for regular.

The traded price of gasoline has been on a steady climb since early April and is now $1.32 / gallon. WTI is $41.41 per bbl.

Gasoline consumption in the USA bottomed out In early April at 5 million bbls per day. It is now 7.9 million bbls / and climbing. The pre-C consumption was 10 million bbls/ day.

By the way Exxon Mobil Stock (XOM), is $46.42. For the last 15 years, their stock has been trading at about the price of 1 bbl of oil. You would think they should be able to get ahead of the game. Their dividend however is currently abnormally high with a 7.5% yield.

US gasoline consumption is now 8.6 million bbls/day per day and climbing: as is the price.

I noticed yesterday that RUG here has dropped to $1.89/gal, slightly down from what it recently was at $2.09.
$3.09 for 89 octane as of 3 days ago.
