Hour meter

I know this isn't a lube question but does anyone know how to install an hour meter on a small 5hp Honda pressure washer? Just an idea to keep track of total hours the life of the equipment. I was also considering one on my Cambell Hausfield Compressor to keep track of the compressor oil.

Any ideas? What kind and where can I get the meter?
