Honda 0w-20 quarts at dealers - Dexos 1 Gen 2?

Must not be 'new' stock at both the walmarts and a Sam's club then. They just say 'approved' not 'approved gen 2' like the PU does.

According to this it's all dexos1 Gen 2 but perhaps it hasn't made to the market.

Yeah, exactly. We're not going to see d1G2 Motorcraft oil, either.


I understand dexos is a gm cert and no other automaker; but if I can benefit from having d1g2 in my brand new accord with a TGDI engine I want to try to find it of course. That's my reason for asking this question.
 
Well, my G37 calls for Dexron-VI ATF as PSF, so maybe next Nissan/Infiniti will call for a dexos1 oil.

Dexron used to be the standard ATF and power-steering fluid for Toyota before they started their own lines for ATF and power-steering fluid.
 
Sadly enough when I went to get this deal at the dealer they could only produce A02 filters. Boo.

Not so sure 32.50 for 5 qts of honda 0w-20 full syn and an A02 is such a hot deal now.
