Help me decide... Mobil 1 or K&N

Mobil 1 filters are high for most cars. I have a dodge cummins and even the cheapest filter for it is 8 dollars. I can buy the mobil 1 at az for 10 bucks 1 mile from my house. To me, it's a no brainer. On the wifes malibu and my mom's crv I run bosch, or ac delco. Good filters for a reasonable price.

If you want K&N go to AJUSA.com the K&Ns are $8.50 (Advance auto and autozone are over $12 I believe) and if you purchase $25 free shipping and no sales tax. A no brainer for K&ns.

hate to admit but when Amsoil went to Donaldson I no longer wish to pay $12 for a filter. If they did anything I would consider it but basically worthless, oil filters in general that is!

Yea. that says it.
M1's are better K&N cost more, do less.
Pure1 beats them with price and filtration. Pure one's are counted as 2nd best by most every one.
My pure1 filters cost $5.77 normal auto zone price. There the "Chevy V8" filter. Just about every other filter but mine costs $3 to $5 more.
If I went with Amsiol Ea filter I would spend $13 for a filter like that.
That standard Micron test is with 20 micron particals.
No one who knows there filters cares about that.
We want the dirt or lack of it on what a filter can do at the sub 10 or 7 micron level.
Nothing beats a 2 micron diesel fuel filtering your oil, with a regular oil filter for when the DF filter clogs up.
