Guy with a cart full of Euro 5W40

Motul 8100 and Liqui Moly LL-01 on clearance. I asked him if he had a BMW and he said he had a Challenger with a Procharger Hemi. He runs it until the oil life monitor hits 80 percent, drains it and runs it in his Chevy pickup that has 200K miles on it. Had a great discussion about all things oily, he was a pretty knowledgeable gear head.

The highlight of the conversation was when he asked me if I wanted any of the oil in his cart, just in case, and just to be nice. I told him thanks, I am good. Boy am I good.

He said he was a Chevy guy with a Challenger, I said I'm a Chevy guy with a Mustang.

Awesome. I rant into a fellow oil nut two years ago during the AZ clearance. We were the only ones grabbing the 0 weight oils while people fought over 5w30. We kind of just nodded at each other.

As long as its only MOTOR oil... not a problem.

Good use of the oil since he's re using it. Would have liked to know how long he's running it in the pickup

good to hear... last oil buyer I talked to wanted oil "with the highest numbers on the jug" at the lowest price... he was looking at some classic 20w50 mineral...
