Got my CDI Torque Wrench

Just received my CDI 3/8" drive 50-250 in. lbs torque wrench today. I am quite surprised by how small and narrow this torque wrench is compared to an equivalent Craftsman Microtork model.

I would also like to believe that this CDI wrench was worth the extra $10 over the Craftsman.

But hey, at least it comes with a calibration certificate...

I think they make snap on, could be wrong though. had a new 1/2 drive one given to me, its a nice quality tool

It says "A Snap-On company" right below CDI on the label affixed to the case

Just received 2 cdi torque wrenches that I bought for my son for Christmas. The wrenches seem to be top quality and the prices and service through toolsdelivered.com were unbeatable.

I believe the range is 30-250 in lbs. That has been on my wish-list for a few months. How is the ratchet on it?

Why would trust a "Pedro" more than "Yao Ming" ? At least make sure that it is in the ballpark before using it for real.

Can you post a pic of the whole wrench? I don't have it front of me but the head and case sure looks like a HF IIRC.

Do you have any way to check the calibration of your new shiny wrench? If yes, I will paypal you $10 so that you can buy similar HF torque wrench and check it against the CDI.

Wouldn't it be interesting to see some real world calibration data on various torque wrenches. Accuracy when new and at pre-determined intervals while in service, lets say over a period of a year.

There are some reports of similar tests being conducted on internet. The claim is that the HF torque wrenches kept their calibration.
