The burs should be more of concern than anything. A magnified image of a louver and some round holes would show rough steel edges just waiting to come off and be steel particles in the oil going directly to the main bearings. I imagine some are too large to fit in a main bearing, but maybe eventually pressure and clearances are such that one slips in edgewise. Score, but it's not sports.
