Q: What is the nature of the defect and why is it a safety issue?
A: Everyone who reads BITOG already knows they are [censored], next question.

Q: Are replacement oil filters available?
A: Yes, customers should buy a Motorcraft, Wix or AC Delco model, these can be cross referenced.

Q: How do I dispose of the used oil filter in the field?
A: Shotguns usually do the trick.

I love this:

Q: How do I dispose of the used oil filter in the field?
A: Dispose of the used oil filters in compliance with all Federal, State, Provincial and local regulations.

Hopefully I have been doing all of this.

In Virginia the state law says that you are supposed to drain it for 24 hours then you can throw in the trash, but being the good socially responsible Conservative that I am I take them all to be recycled when I take my oil (luckily the dump is only 4 miles away)
