Here is the filter out of my sister-in-law’s 2012 Scion xD. The car has just over 120,000km and the FCI for this filter was 7,736km (4,835mi). Looks good to me.

Did it capture anything visible?

That looks like the China-made version, which has end caps similar (except color) to the Fram's Tough Guard 10358. They also intermittently offer a US-made CH10358, on which the end caps look the same as those on the Super Tech 10358 (which I bought, but haven't used yet).

You’re correct, it is the made in China version.

I didn’t notice any visible debris.

I put another one on, so I’ll take a better look next time.
