Which literature? I'm not seeing much supporting this in the owner's manual.

Says first 100 miles don't go over 55, limit throttle 1/4th, don't go over 3500 rpms, etc. I will baby it for its break in. My boring early morning commute is perfect for this process.

I like white too. If it looks good in white then you KNOW it's a good design.

I know I can Google it (so don't yell at me) but are these manual or automatic?
So many q's...I will Google it.

Best of luck and don't pick up any hitch-hikers carrying bloody garden tools.

That's first 100 miles, the manual is quite specific what to do at different early stages, which is quite amazing when everyone else just has vague recommendations.

Thanks for posting KrisZ. Never owed a car with such a specific recommendation. Do other high performance vehicles from BMW, Audi, Mercedes, etc. have similar break in recommendations. For me, this is the most expensive car I have ever owned (other than motorhome). Thanks to all again...appreciate the support.

You and me both lol. I've never owned a high performance vehicle yet. The only reason I know this is because even for my Grand Caravan, Chrysler recommends application of full throttle during break in, although the procedure is not as detailed.
