1988 Ford Escort Xr3i Cabrio :
1988 Ford Escort Mk4 Xr3i 1.6 Cabrio by Argentum Enim in Sempiternum, en Flickr

Pros :
Great looks
Drop top
Fun to drive ( very )
Original condition

Cons :
80s sound system ( forget about bass )
Antiquated radio cassette
Meh fuel economy
It's low and bottoms out on anything more than 15-20cm off the road!!
No oil pressure gauge?
Filthy engine due to oil leaks.

It's my daily but it also goes to shows and meets.

My 1983 Chevy Caprice is my DD in the winter but I occasionally drive it through the summer as well. I mow a couple small lawns as a weekend evening side job and can fit my push mower in the trunk.

My favorite things are the cost of insurance and repairs. It's uniqueness and character. It sounds not bad with the magnaflow catalyst and Thrush welded muffler. It will start no matter how cold it gets and doesn't even stall. (Rochester quadrajet carburetor). I can drive it hard and not worry. Not enough power to hurt itself. It has limited slip so I can drift and do donuts in rain or snow. Works good in bad weather.

What I dislike is the intermittent wipers stopped working last year. My ex girlfriend broke the passenger door handle in an ice storm so it falls off if you don't hold it right. It's 3 different shades of ugly brown and dented in 3 places. There are a few other annoying things but I paid $1500 for it 8 years ago and have put 60k miles on it. It has 228k on it now.

My other daily driver for the summer is my 84 Oldsmobile Cutlass and my favorite thing is smoky burnouts with ease. Lots of passing power. Sounds amazing with headers and x pipe on the stock 76 350 Olds engine.

Gas mileage isn't bad for what they are but obviously it's not their strong point. Luckily they make up for it when it comes to other costs of ownership.

My DD is a company lease...

Favorite: Free insurance, gas, and maintenance. I can put as many personal miles as I want on it, so long as I claim it.

Dislike: Little to no option/choices in selection. Controls on the Fusion are finicky

2018 Forester 6M

Likes:
- Properly geared manual transmission unlike my previous Ford Focus
- I can comfortable fit in the thing
- Base model
- Decent mileage
- Handles great ... and will be getting a WRX rear swaybar
- Rear discs
- Easy to work on (engine comes right out, unit bearings instead of press in)

Dislikes
- @#$@# @#$@#$ @#$@#$'ing gas door on a latch. Stupidest thing ever. One "feature" I have always hated with Japanese cars. Worthless waste of time.

- White interior, would prefer black

- Touch screen radio that I don't really want

2011 Regal CXL, w/ 2.4L engine:

Pros: Solid, reliable, and wonderful to drive; very good A/C; no sunroof to worry about; good mpg on regular.

Con: Underpowered, so that I have to resort to the manumatic transmission to get some revs up in a hurry. But, since most of my driving is city, it's not as big a worry as it could be.

I have had lots to like in all the vehicles I have owned but the top have been the 2016 4X4 Tacoma 4 cylinder stick shift that I gave to my son I loved that engine and the most favorite is the 2015 Ford F150 Because I love the 2.7 engine . I have been getting 21 to 24 mpgs average doing the math and it almost feels as fast as mbacfp's Hellcat Charger

2005 Cadillac CTS-V

Pros: 400hp (13.34@107), manual trans, handles great, killer brakes, 25 mpg on the highway, heat is almost instant, part are cheap and available at U-Pull-It

Cons: rear tires only last 10,000 miles, 14mpg around town, wheel hop, no cell phone integration, can't wait to get rid of the dual mass flywheel

Favorite things about my Crosstrek:
Outward visibility all around
Decent gas mileage for an AWD
Body style is very cool looking, and will not get confused with all the look alikes out there
All controls on the center stack are very easy to use and laid out very simple
High seating position and high ground clearance means I never scrape on steep driveways and sudden speedbumps
Turning radius is very small, excellent city car.
16 gallon gas tank, plus 27 mpg average means I'm not at the gas station a lot.

Least favorite things:
Cold starts are noisy, will switch to 5w20 when warranty period ends.
Could use another 25 hp or more under the hood.

Overall, I love my Crosstrek. Best car for me, ever.

My daily driver is a Piaggio Zip 50...in red. The worst thing about it is people see me on it. Best thing of course is how much fuel I put in it.

2007 tundra, 163k, owned since new.

best is the reliability, and it can do anything I need it to do. carries quad, motorcycles, handles lowes trips, 3 people in the back, gets me to work, and still looks good after 11 years.

worst thing is the gas mileage I guess, but it is a truck. getting 15mpg now that summer blend is here.

I am going to keep it until its 15 years old, or about 225k. The other possibility is in 2020, if toyota is blowing out the old model tundra, I may get the same truck if hugely discounted due to a redesign.
