Nah! It would be like comparing Group III+ to Group IV+. Two different animals.

Doesn't look like this will be a part of any engine oil formulations, they didn't mention crankcase oils at all. Seems to be more for industrial lubes.....

This is where most of EOM's PAO is going. It's not in engine oils. China,India in paticular are buying all they can get their hands on for their expanding industries.

I find that interesting. First I would think that mass/gross/umpteenism would rule the day in those nations and that the ultimate uber fluids would not be some priority.

Now if the .000001% of those nations industrial expansion requires such things ..and that increases demand to the point where the dwarf minority advanced industrial globe feels the pinch, then that would make sense.
