I think it was the PP Euro 5w30. Thay was the Factory Fill here in the United States for this VM Motori 3.0L diesel.
The 2017's and 2018's were all drained and filled with Rotella T6 5w40 and flashed before sale.
While my logical side says that no permanent damage was done and that you should change it to the proper pil and keep on trucking if it was my personal truck I'd be ferious.
My UOA's from my Ecodiesel show that between 0w40, 5w40, amd 15w40 that the 15w40 had the nest wear numbers and that was over the Summer camping season and towing a travel trailer.
If I were you I'd run Rotella T6 5w40 in the winter up there in Idaho and the NEW Rotella T6 15w40 in the summer and towing your travel trailer.
