Cold air intake - 2000 F150 4.6 V8 ?

My point was that would be a better more comparable price option than going with a new CAI. That tuner looks like it really boosts the diesels a nice bit though.

The Tuners work great on a diesel.

I was indicating that both would be a monumental waste of money

I made a cold air intake on my GMC by removing the thermostatic flap and tubing that ran to the exhaust manifold. The main intake tube already draws air from the the fender. Race truck.

I don't clean mine because they never get dirty. The dirt falls off like sausage on a Teflon frying pan.

Larger particles will, but not the fine dust.
