Watched it through a few years back. A classic of its time, for sure.

I thought that you all may enjoy this since Cheers was as much about the theme song as it was the show itself.
I'd forgotten he was in that.And everyone's favorite bartender mowed down some SS in a film with his Tommygun:
We watch it all the time on DVD.
The wife likes Frasier the spin-off. It’s okay. I don’t like his character in cheers. It’s better in frasier I guess. I feel it caters to a different audience?
Fun fact. I was watching mash a while back and told the wife I felt Frasier was copied off of Charles Winchester. Apparently he was? He was in a episode of Frasier and both brothers thought he was their real father.

Had to stop by there when we visited Boston. Didn't go in but I imagine it's nothing like the show.
I never was really into it.
Two more things:
1) Decades ago a European friend came over to visit.
She picked up my 2nd car, a '76 Nova -upon seeing which she said, "Oh my God, it's huge", and drove cross New England to go The Bull & Finch aka the Cheers bar in Boston. She loved it. She also said, "New Hampshire was closed".
2) In the very opening second of the show you see a Ford Grenada (US) speed by. It was a '75-'76 which I think was added as a subtle dating stamp.
Anybody ever notice that?
