I am thinking if should change the oil in my Hyundai ix35 1.6 Gdi (same veloster engine). The last service was done 12000 km and the next one is due in 3-4k km. The oil was last changed 5000 km before without a filter change. The oil used was Mobil1 esp formula 5w30. The car is used for mix of city and highway driving. Not many short trips. The oil now is very dark color and am thinking if I should do a change now and leave it for 3-4k km until the next service.If i change it i will use castrol magnatec 5w30.
