Looks like it's rubber with a metal backing piece on it to me. The metal piece slides down, allowing oil past the rubber piece.


Yep, the metal collar looks to be spring loaded and pinches the rubber gasket ring between it and the base plate. Pretty unique ADBV design.

Missed the follow up post with OP price, ugh. So to general public looks ~9.70 each if ordering 3 for a "standard efficiency" filter. As noted well made looking filter, with an unknown efficiency. A meh for me. Does look like a PurFlux clone to me, same coo. Link source here.
