This product removed oil stains three others couldn't with little effort.
Essentially spray and let sit and blot.
The other cleaners with scrubbing did nothing. Amazing product.
Was under $5 on Amazon.
I tried it on an old shop rug with oil stains from several years ago.
Gone....

I have some Tide stain remover spray but I've not really tried in on anything heavy like you did w/an oil stain. Fresh Linen scent would work for me too. Glad to hear a cheap product works as advertised.

Oil eater works well, along with a paste of oxi clean.

Some cleaners will be better for oily stains and some for organic. Oxi Clean works best for organic and really is best when it's mixed from powder and then used promptly.

Another name to file away is, "Tuff Stuff". Yellow spray bottle.
I've used it on old food oil stains in auto upholstery and was blown away by its performance.

I like to keep some carpet spot cleaner on hand. But when I don't have any, I just use some mild dish soap, trying not to use too much.

I heard Resolve was GTL based, that's why it works so well.

For fresh stains we have had good luck with plain old vinegar and water. I doubt it would work on oil though.

have used this cleaner called Jungle Jake, concetrate, put in spray bottle ,mix to your liking, works well and is biodegradable
