Another 5w40 option could be Motul 8100 X-cess 5w40 (a little cheaper than 300V).

There are Amsoil dealers here so the 5W40 should be available. I'll second the D1 as a good choice. Redline 5W40 would be good too and that's definitely available here. Pity the Falcons arn't available in the U.s as they are way better than the Holdens (GTO etc) right now.

Castrol Formula R 0w-40 PAO+ Little bit of Esters for oil seal offset according to the Castrol I rang them y'day.
