Are 0w20 and 5w20 100% interchangeable?

When an owners manual calls for 5w20, usually conventional oil will suffice. Using any 0w20 will be higher quality than a conventional 5w20. If a owners manual calls for 0w20, then your vehicle is calling for a higher quality oil than conventional 5w20.
 
5w20 full syn =0w20 if you leave in hotter climate or never go below 0f my 2 cents but no data to back up just opinion after reading from here
